Voldemort: Origins of the Heir is a non-profit fan film, inspired by the Harry Potter universe. The idea was born while re-reading the sixth book of the saga, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.
The independent film-making production behind the film is Tryangle Films founded by Gianmaria Pezzato and Stefano Prestia. Pezzato and Prestia founded the production with the aim of proving:
How, with commitment and passion, even without large Hollywood funds, it is possible to realise competitive and valuable movies.
Voldemort: Origins Of The Heir is an unofficial fan-made prequel to the Harry Potter film series, supported by Warner Bros studios after liking the trailer so much.
With a fundraised budget of €15.000, the film is 52-minutes long. Prier the release of the film, two trailers were dropped on Facebook and YouTube and exceeded 50 Million total views around the world.
The fan film was finally released on YouTube on the 13th of January where it received an amazing 5 Million views in two days! The film took the audience back to the Harry Potter universe, but this time the main character is Voldemort and the story is about what led him to become the Dark Lord.

Who To Expect?
Featuring new and returning stars, the majority of the Italian cast and crew are aspiring film-makers and actors. Stefano Rossi plays the main anti-protagonist Tom.M.Riddle (Heir of Slythrin), Andrea Bonfanti as Lazarus Smith (Heir of Hufflepuff), Maddalena Orcali as Grisha McLaggen the main heroine (Heir of Gryffindor) and Andrea Deanisi as Wiglaf Sigurdsson (Heir of Ravenclaw).
